Confidential Waste Destruction
GMW can now offer a fully secure service for
the complete destruction of confidential waste with the additional
environmental benefit of thermal recovery of heat and power.
We have offered confidential waste destruction
for over 20 years to a wide variety of customers. Our recently
commissioned Thermal Recovery Facility (TRF), in Bolton, can
accept substantial quantities of confidential waste.
A wide range of materials can be completely
destroyed, including:
Customs and excise materials and counterfeit goods
Damaged end-of-line or substandard name branded goods
Official uniforms, name branded clothing and other fabrics
Redundant Equipment
Computer hard drives and digital magnetic data
Video and audio tapes
Confidential documents and records
The waste is destroyed at a temperature of
1000 °C - reducing all materials to ash, leaving no identifiable
traces of the original waste.
Processing of waste at Bolton TRF ensures
complete destruction of your confidential waste and provides
a sustainable solution for its disposal. 10 MW of renewable
electricity is produced by the plant, equivalent to the energy
required to heat 7000 homes. State of the art gas cleaning equipment
makes this installation one of the cleanest of its kind.
